King Lien Services obtains California Department of Motor Vehicle's data on vehicles located within the State of California for the purpose of providing the forms, records, and information needed for a Lien Sale. We are a private business and not associated with, employed by, nor part of the Department of Motor Vehicles.

The procedures and rules associated with Lien Sales can be found in the State's "Vehicle Code" and Other Laws relating to the use or the operation of vehicles. There is a book of these laws for sale at all offices of the CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES.
